225/45/17 tyres?

would 225/45/17 tyres fit a 94 wrx or would they be to wide and catch the arches? im goin lowering it aswell the weekend on coilovers and wondering is anyone using this size tyre.
 
most use 215/45/17........

P1's use 205/45/17 when new

225/45/17 used on new age.....

do you have the tyres already is it????
 
Agree wouldent put them on a 94 Think 18s is normaly 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 and then a 35 if you put them on a classic.
