hey lads, quick question when setting off from first clutch bites close to the floor and then sometimes higher, no clutch slip pulls like a train any ideas thought it could be slave cylinder

Similar problem on my girlfriends civic last week. Was also difficult to put in gear.
Turned out to be the slave cylinder alright. Was pi@@ing out of it
