CB radio question - - President JOHNNY II ASC

Tombusa

Sunday Drivers
Hooked up the JOHNNY II ASC CB radio today for the first time.

Was going to listen to everyone.

BUT nothing on any channel at all at all at all at all

Obviously it's prob something I'm doing wrong myself - OR everyone may have moved to mobile phones :multijump:

Read the manual

Do I set it to E or EU for Ireland
and do I listen / lurk on Ch 19 ???

Is there a squelsh(????)knob/button. Try turning up/down should be able to get something. Usually foreigh drivers.

Are you getting anything out of it atall

Where abouts in the country are you

I've mine on in the truck all day eveyday. Somedays it's busy others it's not. Depends on where you are also.
Generally you'll pick up lads on 19, 14 11 and 5 around Dublin, not too sure about elsewhere. Some quarrys and Pits use different channels for the shovel drivers also.
Have you set it up correct?
Cheers
John

Should we use the EU band or the E band ???

And here's a numpty one - I stuck my ariel in the boot (BUT NOT BEFORE I PUT THE POST UP ! :icon_headbang:) will it pick up anything there :icon_blahblah:

thanks
