Can the fog light bulbs on a legacy be changed so they match the HID's? Would white leds do it or is there some sort of a filter that makes no difference regardless of bulbs?
 
leds might be better match alright but might be hard to get the same light spread as the halogen bulbs. Looking to do similar myself to get the sidelights and fogs to be more white to match the factory HIDS
 
Ive already ordered the white led sidelight bulbs-but i tried a bluish H3 bulb before in the spots-and it just shone exactly the came as the original :dontknow: Im wondering if theres a filter involved-when you look at the lens you cant see the bulbs.
 
halogen bulbs can never be anywhere near as white as LED or HID. different technology in the bulbs means the filaments burn whiter than halogen. Have you tried LED white bulbs yet?
