as much as I dont think this is correct!!!!

Correct, the Apexi RSM displays Rev / Speed / Battery Voltage. You can also put an add-on on to it that will display G-Forces. It can de-limit the car but only if it has been wired in to do so. By measuring the diameter of your new wheels+tyres it can adjust your speed readout so you know your actual speed with aftermarket wheels/tyres. It also times your 0-60 times or 0-100 metres etc. plus loads of other stuff.

I have one of these aswell but has been sitting idle ever since got her.
Sits under the rev counter and just flashing 140kph at me the whole time.
Getting her mapped soon so can i use this as my speedmeter when de-limited or will it work etc?

No, It only monitors engine speed etc.

Yes it can be used as a speedo, but make sure its calibrated to the wheels correctly.
