Whats this???

Can anyone tell me what this is in the pictures?? Had my seats out today to clean them and noticed it on the drivers seat beside the belt receiver. It looks like its a socket of some sorts?

Anyone know what its meant to be for? Or is there something missing from it?

it is to do with the saftey blet in a crash it pulls the belt tight
well i thing that is what is for :thumbsup:

seatbelt pretensioner but doesnt seem to be connected!!!
may not be original seats from car if the loom is not present!!!

One of these went off in a mates hand after i told him not to be throwing it around and to be careful with it......he wont be doing it again!!!!

AFAIK the seats are the originals. All other wires are present, going to the seatbelt itself, the wires for the electric motor under the seat but no sign of any other wires unless it has crept under the carpet. :dontknow:

Could there just be a cap missing off it.And is connected to the seat belt within the frame?????????????
