Hi all,

Just a quick one for you all to mull over, recently when im driving and hit say a small pothole or raised marking in the road, my steering wheel moves suddenly to the left or right. That seems to be the only way I can describe it, it basically feels like the wheel has caught in something and pulls it to one side...all tyre pressure is spot on so dont know whats causing this...any ideas???? :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

To be honest Mark, I havent a clue what tramlining is!!! :ponder2: :ponder2:. If its uneven road or say theres gravel on the road, then it happens,

Tramlining is when it feels like your wheel has got stuck in those ruts along the roads. Wheels don't want to move sideways until you force or it gets enough grip. Tyres can cause it. Is your tyre wearing evenly? Or is it wearing more to the sidewall? Suspension geometry can also cause it. I think its neutral castor that causes it but someone will let you know for definate?
