Awww, was thinking hopefully a small ish mod. Sounds savage though :D
 
i was hoping the same thing when i first heard that noise ,until i found out it was coming from a 600 horse power escort cosy, so i just put my wallet back in my back pocket and said "ah well"
 
ye sure its not the blocked recirc pipe...

it sends the dumped air straight back into the turbo causing the pigeon sound as it forces the turbine to slow down ....

supposed to cause excess wear and tear and shorten the life of the turbo , but it sounds very nice ....

Thats Compressor Stall you are talking about there.

aload of boost and an induction filter matted to the turbo mate as a s15 makes the same noise
 
My old glanza turbo with induction kit and blitz dump valve made those squirrel noises out the induction kit.
loved it and would love my impreza to sound like it
