hi all just wondering whats the best plugs for a 00 v limited type r and where to get them cheers
 
Ngk Pfr7B Platinum are the plugs most people use.
Around 55euro for the 4.
Can be got off the traders on site or most motor factors will order them in same day.
Also Ngk Irway 7 irridium plugs. More expensive but mixed views on them. Supposed to be the best longest lasting plug and i used them and found them excellent in my type r but some people say more failures than the platinum.
 
NGK pfr7b are the ones i use and stick with,, think there just one step cooler plug than the standard 6b plugs.
 
The NGK Iridiums work out at 12.50 + VAT per piece. About 60 euro for a set of 4.

Personally, I change out platinum type spark PFR*B plugs for the Iridium type because they do not hold spark well at the higher rpm, higher boost or when you go for more power.

Case in point, the Time attack subaru that we mapped with water methanol injection needed plugs changed from PFR (platinum type) plugs to NGK Iridium no 8.
 
pfr6b or pfr7b are your best bet imo. Have both here.
