lads my car isnt running right i tried a new air mass meter still the same and the coil pack seems to be good but was wondering if the dump valve was the problem it seems to be blowing off air the whole time even when not boosting if the diaphragm was faulty would it affect the air going into the intercooler any help greatly appreciated cheers lads
 
Is it an after market adjustable dump valve?
If so, it needs adjusting so it doesnt leak boost all the time.
If it is leaking all the time, i guess this would affect the turbo boosting properly.
 
nice one guys i dont think its an adjustable one its a forge type but the car car is hunting would a faulty dump valve cause this also cheers lads
 
ya seen a faulty dump valve confuse alot of lads on an evo before, anyone near you that could swap a few things to see?
