STi Problem. Need Help.

Have my 96 STi nearly 2 months now and there is a bad noise coming from the rear, Its like a metal clunking noise as im driving (only when the clutch is out the noise stops when i change gear) The only thing i can put it down to is the rear diff. Any info is appreciated guys!
 
You'll have to get on of the traders on here to have a look for you. Sounds like the diff but they'll tell you for sure.
 
As above, does sound like the rear diff but best to get professional opinion on it.

Contact any of the traders and I'm sure they'll investigate it for ya :thumbsup:
 
id rekon diff bush, if it was diff rekon it be in it the whole time, enen if free wheeling, get on the ground OR IN A PIT and look up an the 2 bushes in frame, get a trust worthy mate to jump in, put her in first and jerk her with clutch, and you will see the play... KIDS DONT DO THIS AT HOME :thumbsup:
Might be prop carrier either, if its only when you let out clutch its one of them 2
