Faulty Starter Motor !! need a new one !!

Hi ,

Just starting my week holidays and went out to the car - and would not start .. :icon_cry: Not a great start to the holidays

100% sure its the starter - got it going on a roll ! only got a new battery last week

Any body got any idea how much a new is ? and fitting ( I hava an 01 Bugeye ~ version 7 )

Any advice would be great

Get it recon'd, its normally only the brushes or commutator that goes in them :thumbsup:

Probably cost about €100+ for a recon
 
starters give trouble in scoobies but be sure it is the starter!!!
a faulty ignition switch or terminal 50 wire with bad connection would give you the same fault!!!

John can you ask your neighbour if he'd be able to re con a bike stator :pray:
