problem with brakes/SORTED THANK 2 COOPSTER

Petrolheads
upgraded my standard '95 jap wrx front brakes today to 4 pot calipers off a 97 tyre r also changed the disc's for the correct one's to suit the 4 pots, my car does not have abs,
so when we fitted calipers and bled the brakes all round the the pedal just kept going to the floor, so no brakes, so was wondering do i need to change brake master cylinder to suit 4 pot calipers calipers ?

Cant see why you would need to change the bmc,
may still be air in, or a leak somewere, its a long
shot but maybe the res cap is just not tight :dontknow:
im sure somone will have the answer :thumbsup:

not to sound stupid but have you made sure that your bleed nipple it at the top of the caliper and not the bottom?
because they do fit on even if you mix up the left and the right!!!! :icon_redface:

coopster you might be right i have the bleed nipples at the bottom wasn't aware der was a left and a right ill change them around in the morning and see how it goes,

no theres definetly no air and no leak i think coopster got it right .... :thumbsup:

yep thats defo the prob coz the air is rising to the top all the time and the nipples defo go on top, let me know how it works out and dont forget the pics :thumbsup:

glad to of helped out matey ......to be 100% honest i only no this because i made the same mistake when fitting mine. but one mans lost is another mans gain :thumbsup:
