IMpreza suspension compatibility with Legacy

Does anyone know if STI shocks and springs from a for v7/8 Impreza, would fit my Legacy. Is there abig difference between standard Bilstein suspension and the STI suspension handling wise?. I know the Legacy's generally tend to have get the newer technology before the Impreza's so hoping there isnt a lot of difference between the suspension set ups. Saw a set STI shocks going cheap online

i have 97 model STI shocks and springs on the rear of my legacy-gtb wagon and they are much softer than the bilsteins but more to do with the weight of the legacy i reckon
i find my car will kick out at the back very easy and body roll is noticeable
may be different on a saloon
