I'm hopeing to pick up my scooby today, its a 02 wrx, 2l turbo, 52kmls. Just wanted to find out how much an average service costs and also what needs to be done on a 60k mls service. Does the timing belt need to be changed at this milage, how much would this set me back. Is their anything else I need to do before I start driving it :D

Price of a service may vary alot :shock:
but expect €300 anyway.

Timming belt every 45,000 miles

Cost on timming belt €600 that inc. fitting

Nothing else really at this stage

Servicing

Just got my wrx and looking to see can anyone recommend a garage to look after it, for servicing and anythink else. :thumbsup:
 
Alot of people including myself are using Dave Lewis now. I reckon anyone here who has had work done by him are more then happy. North Dublin off the M50 0862681872 is his number if you want to get a price from him.

Went for Silver - WRX 02, got it in Longford, low miles, immaculate and full Subaru service history!

You could also try George at gt performance he looks after my type r race car he is putting a twin plate clutch and gear kit in it at the moment .
He is base in Dublin just of the naas road.

I've my car booked in to local subaru garage for the 24th to get timmin belt done along with a service, fuel filter,gearbox and diff oils and plugs so I should have a few very quiet weekends in after I have that paid for.. I'll let ya know what the timmin belt cost was
 
@gerry no need to go main dealer.........

and fact that main dealer works on so little turbos in this country makes bad choice.....
