Gearbox speedo cable?

My speedo stopped working a few months back and after that happened she went into Limp mode. This was fixed by resetting the ECU and she now runs like normal apart from the Idle Control Valve acting the bollox. My question is where can I pick up a new speedo cable here in Ireland I rang Subaru and even with the trans and engine numbers proceeded to tell me that there are 2 sensors on the 'box and that I needed both !!!

I have an import STi Wagon and the speedo is cable driven. I've had the instrument cluster out while she was moving and the cable is not rotating so its fooked and broken. The housing which holds it to the 'box seems fine and secure.

Anyone else have these problems and where did you manage to get parts to fix?

So no one knows anything about this problem....

main dealer is about the best place for a two piece cable, about 80 euro...i had to get one for my legacy a few months back....i was told its the same as an impreza mechanical two piece speedo cable....speedometer cable part number 37410AA061.....speedo cable upper half part number 37410AA181.....hope this helps
