Hi Folks, i think i might have a slight overheating rob wit my baby, normally she wont go over 91 degree c before the fan kicks in, last week i was sittin outside a mates house waitin for him with the engine runnin and looked at the FC commander and noticed it was at 98 degree c, i knocked it off immediately and waited a while for it to cool down and since then the fan is kicking in at either 91 as normal or sometimes 92 degree c, when driving the temp is always normal (never goes over 82-84) and was just looking for some insight as to why it happened, i was thinkin thermostat/switch that kicks the fan in/blocked rad or temp sensor switch maybe

98 is high. Mine never goes over 92 or 93 then the fan kicks in. Driving along it reads a constant 88.

You've listed the possible faults, so check them out. Probably the thermostat.

iv noticed aswell that when she is cold she is very spluttery so am thinkin temp sensor switch, anyone ever have the same prob or know of this happening

water temp switch maybe????
