heating not work

heating not working properly in 96 imprezza, blowing warm and cold on different vents at same time.........

There is little doors that control the flow of air (warm and cold) in the heater core, its behind the radio in the centre of the dash. Chances are one of the motors/actuators for them has failed or its a wiring problem going to them

Christ that could be a balls to fix
How would you get at it , take the dash out ????

Its not that difficult in the classics, when you remove the radio and cage, you can remove the plastic that goes either side of the centre console, oh and the glovebox, and the heater core is right in front of you. At the bottom left underneath you'll see the actuator that controls temp but I'm not sure about the actuators that control different directions
