car not running right any one in galway to look at it for me

well all as above car not running right was running perfect until 2 days ago then all of a sudden it started ticking over badly as if it is about to cut out then revs up and the engine seems to rocking a bit more like it running on three cylinders ....
a mechanic out the road had a look at plugs and as far as he can see the coil packs are ok and he thinks it not running right on the pasenger side head but he doesnt know much about subarus so just wondering anyone around the west that would ave an idea cos dont want to drive it far and dont have a trailer....

your help will be apreciated

had much the same with my one and it turned out to be a crack plug

id say its a plug or a lead
 
I know it might be a bit of spin for you but Peter in Finnegans in Ballymahon is the man to sort anything for you .

Try unplug everything and plug them back in!
Usually something small and stupid!

thanks lads.... tried new plugs and we think coil packs are ok but could be wrong.... theres no engine light on was just wondering if a sensor was gone would the light be on.. if one of the coil packs were gone or no not 100% would engine light come on...
