Gearbox for '97 2.0lt Turbo Irish

Can anybody help, 2nd gear goosed, located a 2nd hand gear box, incorrect type, having hassle locating correct type, can any body point in right direction.
Rebuild if I have to at this stage, or so *issed off now will sell as is, new clutch ready to go in as well, open to any reasonable offer

Your post is one of the most confusing I've read for a long time :shock: Have you decided whether to repair or sell?

Thanks for the honest reply, history is have had the scooby for the past 5 years, but as of late I was putting little or no mileage up on it. Decided to buy a 530d, as I am putting mileage up on the 2nd car ( son is into Karting),
I was hoping to store the scooby, but now having 2nd thoughts and may just move on scooby once I change the gearbox and clutch. Money would help finance the karting season as well.
