which petrol

my 3 friends have scoobys and one of them only uses maxol petrol he says its the best all are uk subarus so shud we b puttin in octane booster if we think the petrol is not good in these fillin stations.l seen a statoil lorry at a maxol station last week deliverin oil so wat is the best petrol 2 use 2 help our engines run well

Uk subarus are supposed to run 98octane I think. Maxol E5 is 99octane so Id say run on that if you can. But bear in mind not all maxols have E5

Currently maxol is the only petrol on sale in this country that is above 95 octane..they claim 99.2..even is it only 97 its still the best..a UK sti shoudl be run on 98 but can run 95..jdm imprezas should be run on 100 octane
