clutch slip

hey all.. i fitted a new clutch last october, it was a standard one.. and the make was blue print clutch.. the problem i have is that if you take off hard in it, it will start slipping and keep slipping until i change gear.. wats a good upgrade for a wrx 94? something that wont slip.. also the car is standard

as above Subaru standard which is exedy o.e. or exedy organic..

stanard car is fine with exedy o.e.

but likes of blueprint or luk etc only wasting your time..

cheers dave and brian.. i think i will make do for now.. i should have put an exedy in when i done it last... waste of 300 yo yos many thanks for advice

Give ali burrows a shout, you'd get an exedy organic off him for the price you paid there, and he can fit it at a very reasonable cost if you need it

maybe not luk/blueprint on a subaru...i dont know!!!
but luk is genuine volkwagen/audi stuff.....
been fitting their clutches and flywheels for years without problems
:dontknow: :dontknow:

if the clutch went that quick your either very hard on the clutch or there is something else affecting it. eg, on the flywheel there is a raised contact area for the disc to engauge on. i have seen this worn away before, clutch will work ok when installed but will have a limited lifespan.
