anyone know the location or whats involved in replacing the speed sensor on a 92 S500??? I believe its on the gearbox ? cheers in advance :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
nah no heater yet sure its nearly summer :cool: :cool: :cool: :icon_grin:
ok well the speedo is not workin or the cruise control and the auto gear change is different, as in it will only change in sport mode when I let off in high revs in each gear,
it happened when I jumped the car off another... cheers :thumbsup:
 
sounds like you may have got a power surge, usually should turn on lights etc when jumping a car. may have damaged some of the control units. have seen this happen before usually only on newer cars.
 
ye was thinkin that myself, tho rev clock, oil gauge are stil workin, oh and the fuel consumption gauge is NOT workin either.... so seems to be more SPEED sensor related no??? cheers
