noisey bilstien shock????

Hi Everybody and thanks for reading.

I am new to the site so please any help would be great. I am the very proud owner of a 2000 legacy blitzen and I love the car. Best car I ahve ever had all be it my first Subaru I feel I will never change brand..........

Thing is I have just turned 45k and this squeak has come into the rear rh shock. Now I work in a truck garage we have had it over a pit and in the air and for love nore money cant pin poin which part is making the noise. I am therfore asking has anybody any advise??

Same noise from my passenger side rear shock, but its not constant. Hasn't made noise in a few months now. It seemed to be worse in the mornin when it was cold!!!

Had it checked and couldn't find any problem.

Top rubber on the rear shock??????????

Just a squeaky shock-soak the shocks piston in ct90 and leave for a few hours. Bet its only in the dry it happens?

Its both noisey in the wet and the dry.

I'll drop the shock out later and have a look.

What can you tell me ct90 and where do I get it.

CT90 is like WD40 but it clings better-seems to thicken up after you spray it-i had squeaky shocks and it sorted them. Any motor factors should have it.
