Hey all, has anyoneone ever cleaned a lambda sensor before ? Some say on the net you can clean them by soaking in carb cleaner or vinegar? Others say not........anyone done it and did it work? :dontknow:
 
no i never heard of anyone cleaning them maybe you can, is your lambda sensor gone? they are expensive to buy i paid 310 euro for one
 
No, but i read that a fresh one just helps everything run better...100kmiles on mine. Curious more than anything.. :ponder:
 
Never heard of cleaning them :ponder: It might work, I dunno.

I priced a new one in C+R, it was €270ish for the bosch one for my 97 STI Type-R. I got a Denso one from the states for €75 :thumbsup:
