Classic impreza rear diffs

Are the sti ones the same as the wrx ones? are the driveshafts the same thickness?

I know the type r one is oversize if thats any help

Ye keith, thats great, rules out the r180 anyway... think the B4 has the smaller shafts so need a diff that will bolt to them cause i dont wanna change the hubs etc

Well my old sti had smaller ones she was a 94 sti

is this reagrds 6 speed box. if so need diff same ratio as box... if doing, do the whole lot incl rear driveshafts and hubs...

Ye, it is to do with the 6 speed alright... I can get the 3.6 rear diff to match up to the 3.6 uk 6 speed... Gona take a trip up north tomorrow and sort out my options, ideally i wanted an r180 rear diff but as keith said they've the bigger shafts.... Its all about money in the end... I've a rough idea of cost but will work it out with them tomorrow and i might take the shafts and rear hubs as well...
