Hey all.......i changed the timing belt on my 00 impreza turbo at the weekend and all went well. I have a question though. I was very careful not to change any of the original timing mark settings and replaced the belt and tensioners without moving any of them.That was fine, put everything back on and started the car no problem. Its driving very well. I put atiming light on it this morning and its reading 10' before top dead center....a mechanic i know has told me it should be 15' btdc +/- 3'..........should i adjust it or leave it alone. Like i say, its running perfectly and smooth......any thoughts?
