downpipe question

hi lads

since i have the decat downpipe fitted my car is hesitating at 4000 rpm even in first gear, is this normal or should i be worried i have to take it off again because its leaking at the joining onto the turbo so it needs a new gasket. i tried it at 4000 rpm on the catback system and it was perfect its only since i fitted the downpipe its happening, would this be fuel cut i dont have a boost gauge fitted yet but could the boost be going that high?

Decat downpipe can & does cause boost spikes alright.

If your car is reacting like that I would advise not refitting decat again until you're ready to get her mapped for the change.

thanks brian im not using the car anyway until its mapped i didnt think it would hit fuel cut with just a panel filter and decat downpipe
