maf acting up.

hey guys, i think the maf is acting up, when i put the boot down the power goes for a split sec and comes back on again, or sometimes it would just keep jerking on and off for a few secs. any ideas. it is a 1996 wrx jap
 
The coil packs break down with age, it will be fine under normal driving but when you put the boot in it starts to miss.
 
so how much would that coil pack cost to change, is there a certain one i should get. is it a big job
 
Stick with genuine parts anyway I would reckon. Talk to Dave in STi Tuning or any of the traders on here, they'll give you an idea on cost :thumbsup: Best of luck sorting it!
