Think the v5 and v6 have open deck the new age have semi closed
A lot of the lads on scoobynet think the semi closed is the best all rounder (some of them running 600bhp on it),closed deck is strong but suffers from heat
as the gallerys are not as close as the others.
There are marks on the engine where the oil filter is this ill tell you what sort of block you have

I think from what I remember when I had it apart that you're right.

Whats the difference between Open, closed and semi closed?? Apart from the obvious one of them looking different.
