1998 WRX STi type R for sale (SOLD!)

Lads the time has come to move on. 3 years in the type R now so moving to something a little more comfortable. Am I getting old? probably!

I have put a deposit on a Legacy so I need this sold ASAP in order to pay for it. Im looking for 9,000euro. I can move on the price but not buy much as I need to pay for the Legacy.

Current Spec

1998 Impreza WRX STi Type R Version 5 Limited
98,000 KM (Timing Belt Due at 120,000)
Sonic Blue
Apexi Power FC mapped for 95ron by Martin Treacy (Westward Engineering). 270bhp/270lbft
Apexi Radiator Cap
BLITZ Nur Spec Backbox
HKS SSQV Dump Valve
Green Panel Filter
BLITZ Boost Gauge
AutoGauge Oil Pressure Gauge
AutoGauge Oil Temp Gauge
AutoGauge Battery Volt Gauge
Custom made Knock Sensor built into dial surround
Black crystal lights all round
P1 Splitter
ZeroSports Cool Thermostat (engine runs 8 degrees cooler)
Samco Radiator Hoses
255lph Walbro Fuel Pump
Oil changed every 3,000KM without fail.

Good points:
The price!
Very well looked after by club member
Taxed until February
Not many Type Rs around this cheap
Fully mapped with Clifford Alarm (built in turbo timer, proximity sensors and Black Jax)
I will pay for NCT retest or sell with full tank of E5
Toyo T1R fitted 8,000km ago
Serviced by STi Tuning

Bad points:

Failed NCT on emissions and headlight alignment. I replaced Lambda Sensor (Genuine Subaru) at a cost of 300euro but emissions still the same. So CAT must be gone. Im sure new owner could borrow a CAT for the test.

Plenty of people were asking about nice type r's over the last couple of months, you should find a buyer easy enough as yours is a lovely example. Good luck with the sale ya turncoat :icon_grin:

Correct, All I need is to get what I need to pay for the Legacy. Im more concerned the car goes to a good home.

be lucky to sell it before xmas but
if this doesnt go for that money ill turn up in drag at the next meet,lovely car,good luck with the sale
